Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: May 3, 2026

Your right to delete your data

BrawdPosts respects your right to control your personal information. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time using one of the methods below.

Option 1 — Delete from your account

The fastest way to delete your data is from inside the app:

  1. Sign in at brawdposts.com/login
  2. Go to Settings → Account
  3. Click Delete account at the bottom of the page
  4. Confirm by typing your email address

Your account, all generated content, scheduled posts, AI artifacts, OAuth tokens for connected social platforms, and analytics history are permanently removed within 30 days. Stripe billing records are retained only as long as required by financial regulations.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can’t sign in or prefer to request manually, email us:

privacy@brawdposts.com

Include the email address tied to your BrawdPosts account in the subject or body. We respond within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

Option 3 — Disconnect Facebook / Instagram only

If you only want to revoke BrawdPosts’ access to your Facebook or Instagram account (without deleting your BrawdPosts account):

When you remove BrawdPosts from Facebook directly, Meta automatically notifies us via our deletion callback (/api/auth/facebook-data-deletion). Tokens and Meta-related data are purged within 24 hours; you can verify the status with the confirmation code we return.

What gets deleted

  • Profile and account credentials
  • OAuth tokens for connected social platforms (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, Twitch)
  • Generated content (text, images, videos, voice clips)
  • Scheduled posts and publish history
  • Analytics and engagement data
  • Workspace memberships and brand voices
  • Uploaded media (Supabase storage)
  • API keys you’ve created

What we keep, and why

We retain a minimal record of financial transactions (Stripe customer ID, invoice history) for the period required by tax and accounting regulations (typically 7 years). This is required by law and cannot be deleted on request. After the retention period expires, financial records are also permanently removed.
